Introduction

ㄹ 계획이다 is one of the many ways to express a future plan or intention. This ending consists of: the processive modifier (으)ㄹ, the noun 계획(計劃) meaning ‘plan’ and the copula 이다.

-ㄹ 계획이다 is simply used to express a future plan or intention.

내년에 한국에 갈 계획이다.
I plan to go to Korea next year.
주말에 뭐 할 계획인가?
What is your plan for the weekend?
매일 아침 어휘를 30분을 외울 계획이야.
I to memorise vocab for 30 mins each morning.
할아버지께서 5월에 방문할 계획이셔.
Grandfather plans to visit in May.
